Atrium Health Steele Creek Emergency Department, a facility of Atrium Health Pineville, provides 24-hour emergency services to the Steele Creek area, including care for broken bones, severe cuts, heart attacks, and strokes. Our team includes board-certified emergency physicians, supported by Carolinas Medical Center, the region’s only Level I Trauma Center.
The CT Technologist I performs procedures following departmental protocols, operating CT scanners and related equipment proficiently, including contrast injectors, monitoring equipment, and patient transport tools.
Essential Functions
Physical Requirements
Requires moderate to heavy lifting, standing, walking, and bending. May be exposed to physical hazards and radiation, requiring safety precautions.
Education, Experience, and Certifications
Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology. ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine, with advanced CT registry from ARRT within one year of hire, plus current CPR certification.
