Job Summary
The CT Technologist I performs procedures following departmental protocols and standards. Operates CT scanners and related equipment proficiently, including post-processing stations, IV contrast injectors, oxygen and suction equipment, patient transport, and monitoring devices.
Essential Functions
Physical Requirements
Requires moderate to heavy lifting, moving patients and equipment, with frequent standing, walking, and occasional bending, twisting, or kneeling. May be exposed to various physical conditions and radiation safety hazards.
Education, Experience, and Certifications
Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology. ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine, with an advanced registry in CT within one year of hire, and current CPR certification are required.
