Job Description

Job Summary: The CT Technologist Assistant performs a variety of routine duties, including clerical, technical, and patient-related functions. Responsibilities include assisting the CT department team, providing health care services such as patient check-in, preparation, screening, assisting with exams and procedures, answering calls, checking lab statuses, transporting patients, and acting as a liaison between CT, the ED, and other in-house care areas.

Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED, or completion of third year in the AA Early College Program with transcripts provided.
  • Radiology and/or hospital experience preferred.
  • Ability to provide age-appropriate care, demonstrating knowledge of growth and development principles.
  • Ability to assess patient data and interpret information to meet age-specific needs.
  • Deliver excellent customer service aligning with CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
