Job summary

Geisinger is hiring a CT technologist to perform computed tomography procedures and post-processing to support physicians in diagnosis and treatment. You will ensure proper patient preparation, imaging protocol adherence, and dose monitoring across multiple CT systems per established guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Obtains CT images according to established protocols with proper patient prep and positioning.
• Performs I-Stat blood tests and administers IV contrast as directed by radiologist.
• Assists with CT interventional procedures and preparation of sterile procedure trays.
• Operates CT scanners, power injectors and imaging systems to acquire diagnostic images.
• Maintains protocol adherence and uses dose data monitoring per ImageGently guidelines.
