Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta seeks a credentialed CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with emphasis on patient safety and comfort. You will operate CT equipment, administer contrast as required, monitor for adverse reactions, and ensure accurate data transfer to the PACS system while maintaining strict stroke protocol communications with radiologists.

Eligible candidates must hold ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT), BLS certification, and graduate from an accredited program; prior CT

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT or NMTCB accredited school.
• Registered CT Technologist with the ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT).
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and obtain patient consent.
• Position patient and administer contrast as required.
• Perform CT scanning and adjust parameters for optimal visualization.
• Monitor patient reactions and respond to adverse events.
• Transfer images to PACS and document findings.
• Coordinate with radiologists on Acute Stroke protocols.
