Job summary

Emory University is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for the Computed Tomography team at Emory Decatur Hospital. The role requires ARRT registration, CT experience, and BLS, working full-time with on-site responsibilities in Decatur, GA.

You will operate CT equipment, prepare patients, and maintain accurate documentation while contributing to high-quality diagnostic imaging in a respected academic health system.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and ARRT registered.
• Must have a minimum of two years radiology experience with one year in CT.
• Advanced CT certification preferred but not required.
• BLS certification required per American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment, power injectors, and related medical imaging devices to produce diagnostic scans.
• Provides quality care during diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
• Prepares patients using sterile technique and communicates needs clearly.
• Maintains complete and accurate documentation of patient care.
• Ensures safe operation of imaging equipment and minimizes patient exposure to radiation.
• Assists with multiple diagnostic procedures and supports student techs as needed.
• May contribute to research activities and patient education.
