Job summary

Guthrie is seeking a Computerized Tomography Technologist to maintain the CT department operations under supervision. You will perform CT procedures and manage ionizing radiation equipment for radiologic diagnosis.

ARRT CT certification is required, with advanced CT certification preferred. The role requires at least one year of CT experience and involves patient care, safety protocols, and coordination with radiologists and EPIC/PACS systems.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with certification; ARRT CT certification required.
• Minimum CT experience of 1 year; CT subspecialty experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of radiation safety and patient care in CT procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures and initiate scanning at the correct anatomical level.
• Verify prescriptions, charts, and patient identification; explain procedure to patient.
• Inform patient about contrast injection and precautions; prepare room and equipment.
• Operate CT equipment, PACS, and associated IT systems; maintain communication with patient during scan.
• Transfer and position patient, monitor during and after contrast injection; ensure patient safety.
• Prepare images for referring physicians and monitor scanner for reliability and maintenance.
