Job summary

CARIN Alliance in Charlotte, NC seeks a CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic CT imaging in an acute care setting, collaborating closely with physicians to deliver critical patient care.

Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, preparing patients, assisting physicians, and maintaining professionalism and empathy with patients; required ARRT certification and state license, with CT certification to be completed within 6 months of hire. Prior CT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • ARRT certification required; CT certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Associate degree or ARRT-approved radiography or nuclear medicine program.
  • One year CT experience preferred; acute care experience advantageous.
  • Valid applicable state license.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and safety knowledge.

Job description

Role Overview: A CT Technologist in the GCM Imaging Resource Pool performs high-quality diagnostic imaging in an acute care setting, collaborating closely with physicians to deliver critical patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT imaging equipment to conduct diagnostic exams
  • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Maintain professionalism and empathy with patients
Qualifications & Skills
  • Certification: ARRT (R), (N), or CNMT required; ARRT (CT) certification within 6 months of hire
  • Education: Associate degree or completion of an ARRT-approved radiography or nuclear medicine program
  • Experience: Preferably one year in CT, with prior acute care experience advantageous
  • Licensing: Valid applicable state license
  • Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, analytical ability, computer proficiency, adaptability to patient age-specific needs, and knowledge of safety protocols
Additional Requirements:

Basic life support training and adherence to relevant policies and procedures.
