Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT approved school of radiologic technology.
• Must have ARRT registration in radiography or be registry eligible.
• CT registry eligible or CT registration preferred; on-the-job training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provides imaging services and transportation to patients of all ages with clear explanations.
• Upholds safety standards, follows protocols, and observes JCAHO standards.
• Prioritizes patient satisfaction using AIDET and coordinates with other departments.
• Uses I Care principles for patient identification and communication.
• Performs CT quality control and completes required documentation.
• Administers contrast/medications per policy and procedure.
• Instructs and supervises student technologists and new staff.
• Maintains accreditation and adheres to department policies; participates in training.
