Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ARRT CT / ARRT T / ARRT N or CNMT registry or State CT registry ARRT R with CT training.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• State Radiology Tech license for those working at a Kansas site.
• Two (2) years of related experience.
• Associate Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures with safety for patient and staff.
• Follows ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Produces quality CT images in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
• Provides information and instruction to patient and family about the procedure.
• Observes patient and equipment during the procedure and reports unusual events.
• Maintains equipment operation and notifies service when necessary.
