Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, NY is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging across patients of all ages, operating scanners and related equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will administer contrast, document procedures, and support radiology services within established protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or graduate of a 2-year AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and CT.
• New York DOH Diagnostic Radiography license and IV certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures on patients of all age groups with minimal supervision.
• Operate CT scanners and associated equipment safely and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and monitor patient safety and comfort throughout exams.
• Administer contrast media (IV and/or oral) following established protocols.
• Perform imaging in accordance with departmental protocols and quality standards.
• Accurately enter documentation into all MSK and Radiology systems.
• Support general radiology procedures as needed.
