Job summary

Franciscan Health Michigan City is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment, acquire diagnostic images, and support physicians with protocol decisions. You will also train students and other staff while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role requires ARRT CT and radiography credentials, BLS certification, and 2+ years radiology experience. Travel up to 20% is required, with 12-hour shifts and on-site work in Indiana.

Qualifications

• Preferred Associate’s Degree in Radiology.
• Required Certificate in Radiology.
• 2 years Radiology preferred.
• BLS - American Heart Association.
• ARRT-R certification in Radiography (IN within 180 days).
• ARRT-CT certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis.
• Train students and technologists; assist in procedures and injections.
• Maintain safety, ALARA practices, and quality control during exams.
• Verify patient identity and document medical history in EMR/PACS.
• Collaborate with physicians to determine protocol and procedure.
