Job summary

AMI is seeking a full-time CT Technologist to join our outpatient radiology team in the Wall, NJ office. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, NJ-licensed, ARRT CT Board Certified, and CPR/BLS certified.

Responsibilities include performing CT exams, image reconstruction, contrast administration, and ensuring high-quality imaging with ALARA practices. Coverage includes Wall with potential assignments in Brick and Toms River as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current NJ license; ARRT CT Board Certified.
• CPR/BLS certification required prior to start.
• Venipuncture experience preferred for contrast administration.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations per departmental policy and on-demand.
• Assist with image reconstruction, archiving, filming and software tasks as directed.
• Review script requests, obtain informed consent, and provide clear procedural instructions.
• Position patients to center anatomy; minimize repeat scans and radiation exposure.
• Prepare patients and initiate IV lines for contrast per protocol; ensure patient safety.
• Monitor patients during contrast administration and maintain HIPAA privacy.
• Ensure image quality and review studies before patient departure to minimize repeats.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and comply with regulations; perform QA tasks.
