St. John's Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, NY, seeks a Cat Scan Technologist to perform CT imaging, select technical factors, prepare contrast, and manage patient safety.

You will operate PACS and MediTech RIS, ensure quality images, and follow federal and state regulations. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program, licensed in New York with capability for injections, ARRT registered or eligible, and has strong manual dexterity and ability to follow

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for Radiologic Technology.
• Licensed for New York State in Radiologic technology including permit for injections.
• Registered or eligible by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; advanced certification preferred.
• Understands written and verbal instructions.
• Manual dexterity for manipulating function of equipment.

Responsabilités

• The Cat Scan Technologist selects proper technical factors for examinations and accesses IV site.
• Administers contrast media and prepares oral contrast.
• Knowledge of PACS, completing and sending images, and scanning documents.
• Reconstructs / post-processes images according to protocols.
• Disposes of biomedical waste and adheres to safety codes; maintains ARRT registration.
