Qualifications

• One year Cat Scan experience required.
• ARRT-CT credential required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews consultation requests and checks for special instructions; consults with Radiologist as needed.
• Obtains patient history and data for correlation with scans.
• Explain examination procedure to patients and family as appropriate.
• Operate CT equipment and perform routine CT procedures per protocols.
• Assist Radiologist with CT-guided procedures and biopsies.
• Evaluate labs prior to contrast administration; ensure patient consent and understanding of risks.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; conduct QA and safety checks.
• Recognize emergencies and initiate code procedures as needed.
