Job summary

Beebe Healthcare in the United States seeks a CT Technologist to perform computerized axial tomography procedures in line with department standards. You will work closely with radiologists, prepare patients, and ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• One year Cat Scan experience required.
• ARRT-CT certification.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Associates Degree in related field required.

Responsibilities

• Review consultation requests and consult with Radiologist as needed.
• Obtain patient history and data for scan correlation.
• Explain examination procedures to patient and family.
• Operate CT equipment per established protocols.
• Assist Radiologist with CT-guided biopsies/drainages.
• Evaluate labs prior to contrast administration and procedures.
• Maintain daily activities log and supplies for CT area.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients, staff and self.
• Identify issues and communicate to supervisor.
• Recognize emergencies and initiate code procedures.
