Job summary

AdventHealth Castle Rock is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high‑quality CT exams, ensure patient safety, and support radiology workflows. You will operate scanners, administer IV contrast, and collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to deliver accurate imaging and timely diagnoses.

Ideal candidates have ARRT certifications, BLS, and 1+ year radiology/CT experience, with strong English communication and adherence to ALARA.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
• Associate degree preferred; Bachelor's preferred
• 1+ years experience in radiology and CT training program (Preferred)
• Registered Technologist – Radiography RT(R) ARRt (Required)
• ARRT CT certification (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required)
• Must read, write and speak English fluently (Required)
• Ability to follow radiation safety principles and ALARA (Required)
• Knowledge of EMR and PACS documentation (Required)
• Strong patient communication and teamwork skills (Required)

Responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality CT examinations per provider orders and protocols.
• Educate patients about exams and maintain efficient workflow.
• Operate CT equipment safely and adjust protocols for age groups.
• Review patient history to ensure exam appropriateness and safety.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast with monitoring for adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and PACS; adhere to safety standards.
