Job summary

Kindred Hospital Bay Area - St. Petersburg and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is a 95-bed facility offering extended recovery care with waterfront views. As a CT Technologist, you will operate CT scanners, position patients, and work with radiologists to ensure high-quality studies.

Join a team that emphasizes patient care and safety. Required are AMA-approved radiologic technology training, ARRT radiography certification, CT certification within 1 year, and at least 1 year of imaging

Qualifications

Completion of a 24-month AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
ARRT in Radiography.
CT certification within one year of employment.
One year of experience in diagnostic radiology or other imaging modality.
36 months experience in a clinically comparable environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate CT scanners and related equipment following prescribed radiation safety procedures.
Position patients for CT scans and assist radiologist with imaging procedures.
Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures and contrast administration.
Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images appropriately.
Document appropriate charging of procedures and supplies and maintain patient records.
Provide orientation and training for new CT Technologists.
