Job summary

Advocate Health in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a certified CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain exam workflow per department protocols. The role requires ARRT registration, CPR, IV certification, and 12–24 months radiology experience.

A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered. On-site position with opportunities to contribute to quality assurance and training.

Qualifications

• 12-24 months experience in radiology.
• Graduate of Radiologic Technology program.
• 1 hour annually in stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department policies and protocols.
• Complete post-processing or reconstructions as required.
• Charge exams and verify study information for radiologist interpretation.
• Start IVs and administer contrast material as prescribed by radiologist.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and manage emergencies.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and QA testing; ensure clean room.
• Assist in orienting and training new staff on Radiology systems or equipment.
