Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for an acute care hospital assignment. The role requires ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certification along with at least two years of radiology experience.

The position involves operating a CT scanner, performing exams across NICU, CCU and ED, and joining the call rotation. The candidate must meet licensure requirements and be able to handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long shifts.

Qualifications

• ARRT R.T.(R) and ARRT R.T.(CT) certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of radiology experience as a registered technologist.
• Active state license required if applicable (where required).
• Trauma center CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and adjust scanning parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Perform CT exams for NICU, CCU, ED, and other departments as requested.
• Participate in call rotation and after-hours coverage.
• Complete documentation for interpretation, reporting, archiving and retrieval of exams.
