Healthier Mississippi People is seeking a Medical Radiologic Technologist for NIGHT SHIFT ONLY in Canton, Mississippi. The role involves performing computerized tomography exams under the supervision of a radiologist while maintaining patient records and ensuring compliance with safety measures.
The ideal candidate must hold a Medical Radiologic Technologist license and be willing to obtain necessary certifications post-hire. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This position is for NIGHT SHIFT ONLY
To perform computerized tomography exams on patients under the supervision of a radiologist in accordance with UMMC policies and procedures. To maintain accurate patient records and prepare equipment for physician's use.

Requires occasional exposure to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environment such as high noise level and exposure to heat and cold, frequent exposure to biohazardous conditions such as risk of radiation exposure, blood borne pathogens, fumes or airborne particles,and/or toxic or caustic chemicals which mandate attention to safety considerations, occasional working hours significantly beyond regularly scheduled hours, occasional travelling to offsite locations, occasional activities subject to significant volume changes of a seasonal/clinical nature, constant work produced subject to precise measures of quantity and quality, frequent bending, frequent lifting and carrying more than 100 pounds, occasional climbing, occasional crawling, occasional crouching/stooping, occasional driving, occasional kneeling, constant pushing/pulling, constant reaching, frequent sitting, frequent standing, frequent twisting, and frequent walking.
