About Lutheran Hospital:

Lutheran Hospital is a community-based, acute-care hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, including Lutheran Hospice Center and Lutheran Spine Center at Denver West. Established in 1905 and relocated to its current campus in 2021, it offers state-of-the-art care in the West Denver suburbs.

Essential Functions:
  • Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions
  • Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images
  • Ensure proper patient identification, prepare patients, and perform exams according to protocol
  • Review images for quality and accuracy, ensuring all necessary structures are captured
  • Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment
  • Complete studies within departmental time standards without compromising care
  • Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and address concerns
  • Coordinate care and communicate with other providers
  • Stay updated with advancements in CT technology through continuing education
  • Assist and instruct students and colleagues in protocols and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
  • ARRT Certification (R), required upon hire
  • Preferred: Certified CT Technologist (ARRT (R)(CT))
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days, required
  • State licensure as applicable, required
  • IV competency within 90 days, required
  • Preferred: Fluoroscopy certification (Colorado-specific)
  • 1-2 years hospital-based CT experience, preferred
Physical and Work Details:

Location: Lutheran Hospital, Wheat Ridge, Colorado

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36

Hourly Rate: $34.06 - $52.55, dependent on experience
