Job summary

Sterling Medical is seeking a CT Technologist for a full-time, long-term W2 contract at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Tacoma, WA. Typical shifts are Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with a total compensation of $65/hour.

Join a high-volume military imaging department and perform CT imaging using Siemens 64-slice scanners, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT CT certification preferred.
• Previous clinical CT experience and ability to operate CT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging using Siemens 64-slice scanners.
• Conduct routine radiographic procedures as needed.
• Administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast; review labs prior to imaging.
• Complete daily QA and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Work within Fuji Synapse PACS and maintain documentation.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to adverse reactions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform CT imaging using Siemens 64-slice scanners
• Conduct routine and STAT radiographic procedures as needed
• Administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast and review required labs prior to imaging
• Complete daily QA and ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Work within Fuji Synapse PACS and maintain accurate documentation
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to adverse reactions

Work Environment

You'll be part of a high-volume imaging team supporting a military medical treatment facility. The department provides imaging services across outpatient, inpatient, emergency department, and trauma settings.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certification; CT certification preferred
• Previous clinical CT experience
• Experience operating CT equipment in a clinical setting
• Ability to complete required credentialing and background screening
