Job Description & Requirements

• Shift : 12 hours, days, evenings, flexible
• Employment Type : Staff

Day to Day : The CT Technologist performs Computed Tomography procedures in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered. Will work with 1-2 technicians and a tech assistant at a time. Manages a daily patient load of 40-70. Handles a wide range of patient exams, including routine, cardiac, and ambulatory cases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs all computed Tomography procedures according to established department protocols

Perform appropriate volume of procedures according to patient load

Ensures that the correct patient information, technical settings, and appropriate slice thickness are entered prior to scanning

Prepare and administers oral and intravenous contrast media according to established guidelines

Performs venipuncture when needed using sterile technique

Displays working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
