Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln CT Scanning department seeks a CT Technologist on the 2nd shift to produce diagnostic CT images with precise patient positioning and high image quality. You will operate complex CT equipment, ensure radiation safety, and document doses and contrast use in the patient chart.

Requirements include an AS degree, ARRT CT and ARRT Radiography within 1 year, and BLS/CPR within 90 days. Full-time in Illinois with rotating holidays and weekends; starting pay is $32.10/hour, with a

Qualifications

• AS Degree or equivalent is required.
• ARRT CT certification within 1 year of hire.
• ARRT Radiography certification within 1 year of hire.
• BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Illinois IEMA certification understanding.

Responsibilities

• Accurate image identification.
• Assures accuracy and high quality images.
• Completes continuing education on CT safety annually.
• Obtains proper consent for procedures.
• Performs CT exams by adjusting and operating CT equipment.
• Administers contrast media under Radiologist guidance.
• Documents radiation dose and contrast use in the chart.
• Monitors Creatinine & GFR; consults physician for abnormal values.
• Uses PACS and HIS to archive patient data; maintain safety.
