POSITION SUMMARY

Maintains a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique. Maintains knowledge about radiation protection and safety. Prepares for and assists the radiologist in the completion of intricate radiographic examinations. Radiographers are the primary liaison between patients, radiologists, and other members of the support team.

Minimum Education: 2-year certificate or Associate Degree

Required Certification: ARRT and BLS
