Job summary

Cochise Oncology is seeking a Radiology Technologist to support radiology procedures and CT imaging, coordinating daily patient workflows with radiologists and radiographers.

Responsibilities include assisting with fluoroscopy, general diagnostic, operating room, and portable imaging, while maintaining safety and communication standards with the medical team.

Qualifications

• Graduates of an AMA COD radiologic technology program required.
• ARRT certification or within 12 months of hire required.
• Knowledge of CT Scanner and operation of pressure injector.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to lift and position patients and equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical and radiation hazards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with radiologists and radiographers to perform technical procedures in Radiology.
• Coordinate daily activities for fluoroscopy, general diagnostic, OR, and portable procedures.
• Support CT scans with radiology team and ensure patient safety.

Job description

Works closely with radiologists and fellow radiographers to perform technical procedures in the Department of
Radiology. Coordinates the daily activities for patient procedures for fluoroscopy, general diagnostic, operating
room and portable. C. T. Scans working closely with the Radiologist.

Full-Time, 36 hrs/week

7pm-7:30am Saturday, Sunday, Monday

Part-Time benefit eligible, 32 hrs/week

Wednesday 3p - 11:30p, Thursday/Friday 7p - 7:30a

$20,000 Sign on Bonus

• Graduate of a recognized, approved American Medical Association Council of Education program in radiologic technology required
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or achieved within 12 months of date of hire required
• Excellent verbal and written skills to facilitate communication with medical and technical personnel
• Knowledge of electrical and radiation hazards required
• Capable of lifting and positioning patients and equipment
• Position requires ability to walk frequently; stand and sit for prolonged periods; see objects closely; and
• Hear normal sounds with background noises
• CT Certification or one year of experience in CT required
• Knowledge of CT Scanner
• Operation of Pressure Injector
• Certified in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation required
