Job summary

The CT technologist at Harris Health provides patient care and operates CT equipment for diagnostic imaging, ensuring image quality and patient safety. You will support radiologists and work within a Magnet-designated system across a network of facilities.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, a JRCERT-accredited program, ARRT CT certification, Texas Medical Board radiologic tech license, BLS from a hospital-based AHA program, and 2 years of radiology experience; weekend

Job Summary

The computed tomography (CT) technologist is responsible for providing patient care and technical expertise in the operation of CT equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED; Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program

Licenses & Certifications

• Cert Medical Radiologic Techby the Texas Medical Board (TMB)


• Basic Life Support from a hospital- based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program


• Cert Computed Tomography Tech by the ARRT


• Work Experience: Two (2) years experience in Radiological Imaging preferred


• Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Writing /Correspondence


• Proficiencies: P.C., MS Word, MS Excel
