The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computerized tomographic exams for diagnostic and treatment purposes at University Hospital and affiliated imaging sites, under supervision of the Imaging Supervisor/Manager.
The role includes patient education, quality assessment activities, and maintaining licensure and registration; current Radiography license and ARRT (R) are required, with ODH license and CT registry preferred.
The Computed Tomography division encompasses stationary CT equipment located in University Hospital, East Hospital, James Cancer Hospital and OSUWMC Ambulatory Imaging locations.
The CT Technologist performs computerized tomographic exams/procedures for the diagnosis/treatment of disease or injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Supervisor/Manager.
For Hire: Current Radiography license, ARRT (R) required. Current Radiography ODH license required. Previous CT Technologist experience is preferred. Advanced registry in Computed Tomography preferred.
Ongoing: Maintains registry & licensing status; meets mandatory education and health surveillance requirements. Demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions.
