Job summary

Radiology Associates of Venice and Englewood is seeking a CT Technologist to join a busy imaging practice serving Sarasota, Venice, and Englewood. Compensation depends on experience, with potential cross-training for MRI. This in-person role emphasizes patient care, safety, and teamwork within a multi-location setting.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year CT experience, ARRT CT certification, and BLS certification, and will work up to 40 hours per week with a strong patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience as a CT Technologist.
• BLS certification is required.
• ARRT CT certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures with accuracy and safety.
• Prepares and positions patients and equipment according to procedures.
• Documents patient history and pre-exam information.
• Maintains clear communication with patients and radiologists.
• Collaborates with radiology team to deliver high-quality imaging.

Radiology Associates of Venice and Englewood is currently accepting applications for a CT Technologist. We are a very busy imaging practice with three locations: Sarasota, Venice, and Englewood. Compensation depends on experience. This job offers possibility of cross training for MRI Technologist.

• Demonstrates concern and empathy to patients; Demonstrates accountability and responsibility.
• Performs procedures in a caring, compassionate and respectful manner.
• Prepares and positions patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
• Conducts pre-examination and evaluation and documents all pertinent patient information prior to exam, i.e., patient history.
• Maintains effective communication with patient; Provides explanation of procedures.
• Proactively communicates with radiologists regarding any unusual clinical findings or history.
• Demonstrates use of interdisciplinary team approach to patient care; Collaborates and confers with radiologists, colleagues and other members of the healthcare team as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience as an CT Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARRT (R) (CT) Certification required.
