Job summary

Grand Lake Health System is seeking a radiologic technologist to perform radiographic and CT procedures, delivering high-quality images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. You will coordinate day-to-day patient procedures in the assigned area and ensure proper documentation and charges are recorded.

The role may involve off-site imaging locations with related duties. Cross-training to CT within 6 months and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate with an Associates or Bachelor’s degree of an accredited Radiography program.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography or registry eligible. Registered in Radiography and CT preferred.
• Hold a current Ohio Radiologic License in Radiography or eligible to apply for licensure.
• Must be cross trained to CT within 6 months.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and CT procedures producing high-quality images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
• Coordinate the day-to-day activity of patient procedures in the assigned area.
• Complete all required paperwork associated with the Diagnostic Exam.
• Enter all patient charges accurately.
• May be assigned to work at off-site imaging locations and perform related duties.

FT - 12 Hour shifts 7PM to 7AM

EveryFourth Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required

Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing radiographic and CT procedures producing high-quality images for interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
• Coordinates the day-to-day activity of patient procedures in the assigned area.
• Responsible for all required paperwork associated with the Diagnostic Exam.
• Responsible for accurately entering all patient charges.
• May be assigned to work at off-site imaging locations and responsible for patient registration, phlebotomy, waived lab testing, and other duties as required.

Requirements

• Must becross trained to CT within 6 months.
• BLS Certification required.

Education/Certifications

• Graduate with an Associates or Bachelor’s degree of an accredited Radiography program.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography or registry eligible. Registered in Radiography and CT preferred.
• Hold a current Ohio Radiologic License in Radiography or eligible to apply for licensure.

Experience

Previous experience preferred.
