Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary: Performs diagnostic CT procedures within the CT Department utilizing specific equipment. Rotates through diagnostic radiology as assigned and performs all responsibilities outlined in the CT Tech job description. Involved in radiation and general safety practices at all times.
Includes preparing patient rooms and equipment, performing exams, documenting procedures, maintaining safety standards, producing diagnostic images, administering contrast media, and utilizing PACS for image management. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Frequent walking, standing, lifting, and patient handling. Ability to lift over 100 pounds occasionally. Normal hearing and visual acuity required.
Exposure to body fluids, contagious diseases, sharps, radiations, and other hazards. Work involves high stress and interruptions.
Knowledge of patient development, care, and pain management. Understanding of patient needs across all age groups.
