Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a night shift, full-time CT Technologist to operate the CT scanner safely, obtain high-quality imaging, and coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize workflow.

You should have a technical or associate’s radiography degree, ARRT registration or eligibility, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire; you will work with PACS and handle IV contrast and patient transport.

Qualifications

• Technical or Associate’s radiography degree.
• Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT.
• Maintain registry while employed.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Operate the CT scanner safely and proficiently.
• Obtain a high standard of imaging and positioning.
• Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow.
• Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions and be able to start an IV line to administer contrast fluids.
• Transport patients to and from the department.
• Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system.
