Job summary

RadNet in California is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high quality CT exams, monitor patient well-being, and administer contrast safely within a patient‑centered imaging team.

You will guide patients, respond to physician needs, protect patient information and assets, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver best clinical outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• State regulations may necessitate certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT).
• BLS certification depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or issues.
• Administer contrast safely and effectively.
• Guide patients through the exam process and address questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient information and property.
• Safeguard medications on site in line with policy and law.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

You Will:

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT)
• BLS certification depending on state regulations

Pay Range: $55.00-$70.00 per hour
