Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a CT Technologist at Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, GA. The position requires nights, 3 days work with weekend shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates; interview discussions will cover eligibility and payout terms. Responsibilities include operating CT scanners, positioning patients, and assisting radiologists.

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.
• ARRT Certification.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and position on CT table and explain the procedure with empathy.
• Operate CT scanners and/or X-ray machines to obtain images, adjusting settings to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Monitor patients for comfort and safety during the procedure.
• Assist radiologists and administer contrast agents or perform related procedures as needed.
• Ensure quality assurance of CT scanners and X-ray machines for accurate images.

Overview

CT Technologist ($10,000 Bonus if you have some CT experience)

Location: Southern Regional Medical Center; Riverdale, GA

Nights | 3 Days |Weekend shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and ensure patients are properly positioned on the Computer Tomography (CT) table and explain the procedure to them with empathy, address any concerns or questions they may have
• Operate CT scanners and/or X-ray machines to obtain images of the targeted body parts, which may involve adjusting the CT scanner settings to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure, radiation safety at all times
• Monitor our patients, as a CT Technologist ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure
• Assist other radiologists, as you will work closely with them, who interpret the images you produced by the CT exam you may also assist in administering contrast agents or perform certain procedures
• Accountable for the quality assurance of CT scanners / X-ray machines to ensure they function properly and produce accurate images

• Effective July 1, 2017 appropriate national certifications in two modalities required
