Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT membership and CT Technology Certification required.
• 1+ years experience as a CT technologist preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One-year experience as a CT technologist (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality CT images of patients following established protocols.
• Comply with radiation safety guidelines and utilize protection equipment.
• Perform necessary computer operations and ensure proper billing.
• Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner.
• Prepare exam rooms and monitor inventory.
• Assist radiologist with medications, contrast agents, biopsies and other patient care tasks.
• Review exams for technical quality and complete verification in PACS.
• Assist with PACS cleanup and image reporting.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA policy.
• Complete ongoing education requirements.

Job Summary

We are seeking a CT Technologist to ensure high quality, efficient patient care using CT imaging technology.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality CT images of patients, following established protocols and adjusting protocols as required.
• Comply with radiation safety guidelines for patient and self; appropriately utilize personal protective equipment; operate CT scanner safely.
• Perform all necessary computer operations (e.g., Meditech); ensure proper charges are entered and referring physician orders are verified.
• Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner.
• Prepare examination rooms for CT scan and/or invasive procedures; monitor inventory and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist the radiologist in administering medication, contrast agents, performing biopsies and other patient care tasks.
• Review each exam for technical accuracy (e.g., technical quality, anatomical positioning, annotation) and complete verification process in PACS.
• Assist the Facility System Administrator and CT Supervisor with PACS clean‑up (e.g., unarchived images, verifications, unspecified image reporting).
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employees and patients in accordance with HIPAA policy.
• Complete and maintain personal educational requirements.

• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) member.
• ARRT – CT Technology Certification (required within 6 months of hire).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One‑year experience as a CT technologist (preferred).
