Job summary

RadNet is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high quality CT exams and monitor patients throughout the procedure. You will administer contrast safely, guide patients, respond to physicians, and protect PHI and on-site medications while maintaining professional conduct.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care in a fast-paced radiology setting. Required certifications include ARRT CT (or CT eligibility) and CPR/BLS, with at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Qualifications

• State licensure and ARRT (R) and/or ARRT (CT) certification may be required.
• CPR/BLS certification depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient well being during exams and respond to issues.
• Administer contrast safely and effectively.
• Guide patients through exam steps and answer questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.

You Will

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

Pay Range: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
