Job summary

Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with CT and diagnostic radiology skills. Graduation from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program and current ARRT licensure in CT, with NY licensure eligibility and CPR/BLS credentials, are required.

The role involves proficient operation of major radiology equipment and clear English communication. This position supports patient care across CT and radiology services, requires on-call availability, and offers a 12-hour night

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
• Maintains registries and licenses required by state and federal law.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Proficiency with major radiology equipment and software.
• Eligible for/holding NY Radiologic Technology license.
• Maintains CPR/BLS credentials.
• Ability to work in CT and Diagnostic Radiology.

• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Possesses knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
• Maintains all registries and licenses required by state and federal law.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Department specific training.
• Proficiency with most major Radiology equipment, manufacturer’s hardware and software.
• Ability to comply with on- call specifics.
• Attains and maintains registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in CT.
• Is currently eligible for and/or holding a New York State license in Radiologic Technology.
• Maintains Basic Life Support Credentials (CPR).
• Candidate must have the ability to work in both CT and Diagnostic Radiology.
