Job Summary

As a CT Technologist, you'll utilize computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for diagnosis, following safety procedures and protocols. Your responsibilities include interpreting physician instructions, administering contrast, preparing and operating equipment, and positioning patients. Your daily tasks will also involve:

• Maneuvering equipment and patients
• Providing basic patient care
• Submitting accurate imaging, patient history, and case charges
• Supporting patient and employee satisfaction initiatives
• Performing technical procedures requiring judgment and initiative
• Maintaining your professional development and staying informed on standards and protocols
• Conducting quality assurance and incidental office duties to ensure complete records and departmental efficiency

Qualifications

Education/Work Experience

• Graduation from an accredited Radiological Technology program, with coursework or demonstrated skill in cross-sectional anatomy
• Preferred: One year of CT Technologist experience

Licensure/Certification

• ARRT certification required
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required
• State of Washington Radiologic Technologist registration required
• CT registration preferred

Note: This location requires quarterly AHA RQI competency certification post-hire, with internal resources only.
