Lake Huron Medical Center in Port Huron, MI, is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, and mammography according to department protocols.

You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensure image quality and timely transmission to PACS, and participate in quality and safety programs while maintaining patient care standards in a busy community hospital.

Qualificações

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) required.
• One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound or Special Procedures according to department protocols.
• Interfaces with customers and ensures imaging needs are met and prioritized.
• Oversees radiology area and staff in the manager/director's absence.
• Maintains department supplies and promotes teamwork and customer service.
• Transmits and archives images to PACS as part of workflow.

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultra Sound or Special Procedures according to department protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/ QC activities. Assists in Maintaining Performance Improvement Program. Oversees radiology area and/or staff in Manager's / Director's absence. Maintains department supplies. Promotes teamwork and good customer service.. Does scheduling for assigned sub departments and maintains supplies and equipment for assigned sub department. Responsible for Processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred
• Proficient computer skills.
