Job Description

• Job Title: CT Technologist – Crisis Response
• Location: Charlotte, NC
• Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Shift: Night (3x12s) | 7:45 PM – 8:15 AM

Overview

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join a high-volume emergency department imaging team. The ideal candidate will be proficient with Siemens and GE CT scanners, and comfortable handling trauma, stroke, and general ED cases independently. This is a crisis response role and offers an excellent opportunity for professionals who thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a full range of CT procedures, including:
• Abdomen, Chest, Pelvis, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, and CT Angiography
• Operate Siemens and GE CT equipment (Siemens experience required)
• Manage imaging needs for Code Stroke, trauma, and routine ED patients
• Accurately document and manage imaging workflow using EPIC and Visage
• Collaborate with other radiologic technologists and emergency staff to ensure seamless patient care
• Maintain a safe, sterile, and compliant work environment at all times

Qualifications:

• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications
• BLS certification (AHA only)
• Minimum of 2 years of CT Tech experience in high-volume settings
• Proficiency with Siemens scanners is mandatory
• Experience with inpatient, emergency room, and adult ICU cases
• 1st time travelers accepted

Preferred Skills:

• IV Starts
• PACS
• Contrast handling
• Familiarity with Visage imaging software

Facility Highlights:

• Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital
• Unit: Emergency Department CT Imaging
• Daily Volume: 150–200 scans (4-room CT unit)
• Staffing: 2 techs on weekends, solo overnight coverage on third shift
• Patient Population: Infants to Geriatrics
• Systems Used: EPIC (EMR), Visage (PACS)
• Parking: No fee
