Job Title: CT Technologist

Location: New York, NY

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. This role involves performing high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and adhering to departmental protocols and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will be experienced, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Licensure: New York State License as a Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T).
• Certification: ARRT certification in Radiography and current certification in CT.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent CT technologist experience (1 year required), with strong preference for experience using Siemens scanners.
• Other Requirements: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in Siemens CT systems.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Attention to detail in documentation and imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging procedures using appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on CT equipment.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals per physician orders and established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with department and regulatory requirements.
• Observe and follow all safety protocols, including ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles.
• Retrieve and manage patient imaging data for radiologist interpretation.
• Order, receive, and verify radiopharmaceutical doses in accordance with hospital policy.
• Respond to patient needs throughout their radiology visit, ensuring comfort and safety.
