A leading healthcare provider is seeking a CT Technologist responsible for performing computed tomography imaging procedures. This role involves maintaining patient records, ensuring image quality, and adhering to safety guidelines. Job Summary
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing patient conditions. This role requires a high degree of technical skill, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols
• Position patients appropriately and operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images
• Ensure image quality and clarity to aid in accurate diagnosis
• Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures
• Monitor patients during scans for safety and comfort
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and hospital policies at all times
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff
• Prepare and administer contrast media as needed for imaging procedures
• Provide care and reassurance to patients before, during, and after procedures
Required Qualifications
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program
• Experience with CT imaging procedures
• Knowledge of radiographic safety and quality control standards
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical setting
• Familiarity with PACS and electronic health record (EHR) systems
Certifications
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• COVID-19, Flu, and COVID Booster Vaccinations (Required)
Shift Schedule
• Week 1: Wednesday to Saturday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Week 2: Sunday, Tuesday to Thursday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
