Job summary

Madison Health in London, OH, is seeking a CT Technologist for a full-time day shift (12-hour shifts on Saturday, Sunday and Monday). The role performs CT and x-ray procedures to produce diagnostic images and provides patient care and education in a safe radiology environment.

Required ARRT registration with CT registry preferred, and an Ohio Radiologic License. BLS certification within 30 days of employment is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergent CT and x-ray procedures with correctly used imaging equipment and contrast agents.
• Prepares patient and exam room for imaging procedure; assists patient with dress and education.
• Maintains manual and computerized patient, department and hospital records; performs data entry and stocking tasks.
• Performs and documents equipment quality control; performs routine cleaning and reports malfunctions.
• Provides back-up coverage for general Radiology procedures and may be on call outside normal hours.

About the position: As a CT Technologist at Madison Health, you will be responsible for performing CT and x-ray procedures to produce diagnostic images. Provides procedural-related patient care and education. DAY SHIFT HOURS - 12 hour shifts (Saturday, Sunday and Monday).

• Performs routine and emergent CT and x-ray procedures by correctly using imaging equipment, related accessories and contrast agents. Upholds radiation safety standards and department protocol.
• Prepares patient and exam room for imaging procedure. Helps patient with appropriate dress. Provides a comfortable, friendly, secure atmosphere for all patients. Provides patient and family education related to imaging procedure.
• Maintains manual and computerized patient, department and hospital records. Performs associated data entry and clerical tasks as needed. Responsible for ordering and stocking department supplies.
• Performs and documents equipment quality control according to department protocol. Performs routine cleaning and preventative maintenance. Recognizes and reports any malfunction to appropriate person or department.
• Provides back-up coverage for general Radiology procedures. Available to take call outside of normal working hours.

What qualifications are we looking for?

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration required. CT registry (ARRT) preferred.
• Ohio Department of Health Radiologic License required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment required.
