Qualifications

  • Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology.
  • Current ARRT Registry and Kentucky license required.
  • Advanced ARRT Registry in CT must be obtained within one year of hire.

Our Imaging Department encompasses multiple services including Computed Tomography, Diagnostic X-Ray, Interventional Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT Imaging, and Ultrasound . Our team works closely with other departments such as surgery and oncology to provide the best care for all patients. Job Description:

  • Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.
  • Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.
  • Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
  • Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.

Requirements:

  • Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology
  • Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry
  • Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
  • Advanced ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography required within one (1) year of hire
  • Current CPR for Healthcare Providers
