MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas seeks a skilled Cat Scan Technician to perform CT imaging and related procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality results.

The role requires graduation from a radiologic technology program, ARRT CT certification within 6 months, and preferred 2 years of CT experience. Eligible candidates receive a comprehensive benefits package and competitive hourly wages.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a licensed Radiologic Technology School.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with ARRT CT certification within 6 months.
• Two years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis and treatment and perform CT procedures.
• Provide appropriate patient care and maintain professional ethics during scanning.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure safety and quality imaging for interpretation.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served in his/her department. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and provides care needed as described in the departmental policies and procedures. Applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs computed tomography and related procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed Practitioner. Exercises professional judgement in performance of services and maintains a demeanor that reflects a high standard of medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for the successful completion of procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of a licensed Radiologic Technology School
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Must have advanced certification from the ARRT in CT within 6 months
• Two years experience preferred
