Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center in Kirkland, WA seeks a Radiologic Technologist with CT imaging experience to perform a variety of imaging procedures and IV contrast administration, while delivering compassionate patient care in a collaborative team setting.

You will utilize multi-slice CT, power injectors, and monitoring equipment, supporting diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopy work with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy for patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Formal radiologic technology program completed.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• NRRT - Radiography upon hire.
• Within 1 year: NRCT or Nuclear Medicine CT technologist certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures with independent judgment using a multi-slice CT scanner.
• Start IVs and administer contrast per physician directions; monitor therapy.
• Provide exemplary customer service and work within a team framework.
• Continue radiology tech experience in diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopy.

Description

Performs a variety of technical and patient care procedures that require independent judgment utilizing a multi-slice CT scanner. Utilizes power injectors and monitoring equipment. Starts IVs and administers IV, oral, or rectal contrast at the direction of the physician onsite. Provides exemplary customer service. Participates and is engaged in a team framework and maintains a positive approach and attitude. Continues to use their radiology technology experience doing diagnostic X-ray and Fluoroscopy work.

Required Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program
• Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
• Within 1 year of hire:
• National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography --or--
• National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with one-year in a CT Scan department preferred

Pay Range: $52.54 - $79.89
