Job summary

Pride Health is seeking an experienced Travel CT Technologist for a weekend position in a Level I Trauma environment. The role requires Saturday and Sunday shifts, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with 24 hours per week guaranteed.

You will operate GE Revolution 256 CT and Siemens Flash 128-slice scanners, ensuring top image quality while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Qualified candidates will have ARRT CT certification, current BLS, and Kansas license eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum recent experience in a Level I Trauma Center.
• ARRT CT certification required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Kansas Board of Healing Arts license or eligibility to obtain upon offer.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures following physician orders and protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients for CT examinations.
• Operate advanced CT equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
• Administer contrast media per safety guidelines.
• Monitor patients and respond to any adverse reactions.
• Maintain documentation and comply with radiation safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to provide exceptional patient care.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a high-acuity imaging team in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma environment. This weekend-only position offers a consistent schedule and the opportunity to work with advanced CT technology.

Position: Travel CT Technologist

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Hours: 24 hours per week

Start Date: ASAP

Guaranteed Hours: As specified in the contract

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures following physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients for CT examinations.
• Operate advanced CT equipment while ensuring optimal image quality.
• Administer contrast media in accordance with facility policies and safety guidelines.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with radiation safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum recent experience in a Level I Trauma Center
• ARRT (CT) certification
• Current BLS certification
• Kansas Board of Healing Arts license (or eligibility to obtain upon offer)
• Experience operating GE Revolution 256 and/or Siemens Flash 128-slice CT scanners
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Weekend day shifts only
• No floating required
• No on-call requirement
• Holiday coverage required based on department needs
