Overview

We are searching for team members who are passionate about challenging and exciting work for the good of every patient! As a team member of University Hospital, you will be part of one of Indiana's top-ranked hospitals.

This position is full-time, working Monday - Thursday, 4 (10-hour) shifts from 9pm-7am at University Hospital.

The CT Technologist performs diagnostic procedures in a timely manner, demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric. Responsibilities include following physician's instructions, preparing and operating equipment, and correctly positioning patients to record diagnostic images. Providing excellent patient care is essential. A minimum of one year of experience as a radiologic technologist is preferred, or advanced training in medical imaging technology. Some on-call work may be required.

Minimum Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Active certification through ARRT (Radiography, RT(R) or Nuclear Medicine, RT(NM)) or NMTCB (CNMT) required.
• Advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT) through ARRT or NMTCB must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when patient conditions require.
• Current Indiana State Department of Health license as Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
