Job Description:

• Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
• Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time‑out procedures prior to starting exams.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
• Educates patients about the exam and complete all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.
• Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s, High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography (ARRT‑CT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (R.T.-CERT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
• Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
• Medical Radiation Technology - IEMA (MRT‑IEMA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
• Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
• Radiologic Technologist - License (RT‑LIC) - Accredited Issuing Body
